Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 8, 2026

Alpine Connection LLC (“we”, “us” or “our”) operates Page Deltas, a service that makes it easy for you to monitor web pages and be informed when the pages you care about change. We understand that privacy is important to our visitors and registered users. We respect your privacy and take reasonable steps to protect your information as if it were our own.

Please also review your Terms of Service with us, which shall govern in the event of any inconsistency with this Privacy Policy.

What this Privacy Policy applies to

Our mailing address is Alpine Connection LLC, 447 Broadway 2nd Fl 2776, New York, NY 10013, USA. This Policy applies to the pagedeltas.com website, including all subpages and successor pages (collectively, the “Website”), and to all software and services that we offer, including through our Website when you register for an account (collectively, the “Services”).

By using our Website or Services, you accept the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, delete all cookies from your browser cache after visiting our Website and do not visit or use our Website or Services. Your continued use of our Website or Services signifies your acceptance of this Policy.

Information collection and use

Broadly speaking, we collect information in two ways: (1) when you provide it directly to us and (2) passively through technology such as cookies and server logs. The types of information we collect, and our use of that information, depend on whether you are a Website Visitor or a Registered User.

Personal Information

The term “Personal Information”, as used in this Policy, refers to any information that can be used to identify a specific person, or any anonymous information (e.g. an IP address) that is linked to a specific person. Personal Information does not include information that has been aggregated or anonymized such that it can no longer be reasonably associated with a specific person.

What we collect

  • Account data: your email address, a bcrypt-hashed password, and session tokens. We never store your raw password.
  • Monitor data: URLs you ask us to watch, the page content we fetch from those URLs, and the diffs we generate. This content is the basis of the service.
  • Usage data: anonymized per-job metrics (status, duration, proxy tier used) for observability, plus the IP addresses, devices, and locations used to access the Service, which are linked to your account for security.
  • Billing data: handled by Stripe; we never see card numbers. We store only the Stripe customer ID, subscription ID, and plan tier.

Website Visitors

To simply browse our Website, you are not required to provide any Personal Information. We may gather non-personally-identifiable information solely for the purposes of monitoring and improving our Website and Services. We do not share this information with third parties or use it to target advertisements to you.

Registered Users

To gain full access to our Services, you must register for an account. We collect Personal Information when you voluntarily provide it, such as your email address (to set up your account) and the URLs and configuration you create. With your consent, we may collect additional Personal Information through emails, surveys, and other communications. Once you begin using the Service, we keep records of meta information (account id, job type, success/failure status) of your requests for accounting and operational purposes.

Sub-processors

We use the following sub-processors to deliver the service. Each is contractually bound to standard data-processing terms; this list will be kept current.

  • Stripe — payments & subscription management (PCI DSS Level 1)
  • Cloudflare R2 — HTML, text, and screenshot snapshot storage
  • xAI — AI classification & summarization of detected page changes
  • AWS SES — transactional + alert email delivery
  • Oxylabs — datacenter and residential proxies, used only when target sites block direct fetches
  • Sentry, Healthchecks.io, Grafana Cloud — error tracking, uptime monitoring, metrics & logging
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosting (US-based)

Sharing and disclosure of information

We do not sell or rent your Personal Information to marketers or third parties. We may share your Personal Information with the trusted sub-processors listed above, who are integral to the operation of our Website and Services, and we may store your Personal Information on servers or databases operated by those sub-processors.

We may disclose your Personal Information to law enforcement, government officials, or other third parties if: (i) we are compelled to do so by subpoena, court order, or other legal process; (ii) we must do so to comply with laws, statutes, rules, or regulations; or (iii) we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to prevent physical harm or financial loss, to report suspected illegal activity, or to investigate violations of our Terms of Service. In addition, in the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or similar event, certain information in our possession may be transferred to our successor or assign.

Retention

History data (monitor checks, change records, screenshots) is kept according to your plan's retention_days setting. See the pricing page for the current per-tier window. Account deletion is available on request via [email protected].

Choice and opt-out

You can elect not to provide Personal Information, but this may limit your ability to use our Services. You can update your account information by signing in to our Website. If you wish to opt out of having cookies set on your browser, manage the settings in your web browser to delete cookies and disallow further acceptance of them; refer to your browser's technical information for details.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR for the EU, CCPA for California, etc.) you may have rights to access, export, correct, or delete your personal data. Reach out to [email protected] to exercise any of these.

Cookies and server logs

We use one cookie: an authentication session token. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on the app. Our server log files may record information such as the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, IP addresses, and time spent on the site; these are used to monitor, measure, analyze, improve, and troubleshoot our Services. Disabling cookies may limit your ability to use our Website and Services.

Protection of information

Data transmissions are generally insecure. We maintain administrative, technical, and physical procedures to protect information stored on our servers. Access to information is limited (through user/password credentials and software systems) to those personnel who require it to perform their job functions. Security safeguards include, but are not limited to, firewalls and access controls.

Changes and notifications

We reserve the right, in our sole and absolute discretion, to make changes to this Policy from time to time. Please review this Policy periodically to check for updates. If any changes are material and/or retroactive, we may provide additional notice and/or an opportunity to opt in, as appropriate. We will provide disclosures and alerts regarding this Policy by posting them on our Website.
