Team & roles

Page Deltas is built around organisations. Every monitor, channel, token, and invoice belongs to one. Inside an organisation, members have a role that controls what they can do.

The organisation model

When you register, we create an organisation for you and add you as its admin. You can invite teammates to that organisation. In practice each account belongs to a single organisation.

Roles

There are three roles, ranked admin > editor > viewer. Permissions are based purely on this rank — they are not per-resource, so any editor can edit or delete any monitor or channel in the organisation, regardless of who created it.

RoleCan doCannot do
AdminEverything an editor can do, plus: manage billing and the plan, and manage the team (invite, remove, and change member roles).Nothing within the organisation.
EditorCreate, edit, and delete monitors and channels (any in the org); run manual checks; create and delete API keys; view everything.Manage billing or the plan; invite or manage members.
ViewerRead-only access to monitors and changes.Create / edit / delete anything; create API keys; manage channels; billing or team management.

Inviting teammates

  1. Go to Settings → Team.
  2. Enter the email address and choose a role (admins only).
  3. The invitee receives an email with a one-time signed link valid for 7 days.
  4. They register (or sign in, if they already have an account with that email) and are added to your organisation.

Changing roles & removing members

Admins can change any member's role and remove members from Settings → Team. Removing a member deletes their membership outright (there is no “removed” role).

  • You cannot remove or demote the last admin. Promote someone else to admin first.
  • Removing a member does not delete monitors or channels — everything is owned at the organisation level, so any remaining editor or admin can continue managing it.
  • API keys belong to the organisation, not to an individual, so removing a member does not revoke the org's keys. Rotate a key explicitly (delete it and create a new one) if you need to cut off access.
